Lead Pastor

Pastor Kochenower was born and raised in South Carolina and attended Southern Adventist University (SAU). While taking a year off as a missionary, Morgan felt God calling him to full-time ministry. Morgan graduated from SAU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology. When Pastor Kochenower returned from the mission field, he met Michelle. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Andrews University. Pastor Kochenower’s greatest experiences have been marriage, parenthood, and witnessing people accept Jesus into their hearts. Looking at his life, he can see some of the beautiful ways Jesus has blessed him. In turn, his prayer is that he can be a blessing to those around him, and he wants others to know the hope, joy, peace, and rest found in Jesus Christ. Pastor Kochenower and his wife, Michelle, have two boys, Jude and Thatcher, and two fur babies, Charlie and Kiki. 

Discipleship Pastor

Pastor Alareece Collie grew up on the tropical island of Andros, one of 700 islands and cays in The Bahamas. She holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Andrews University. At Andrews University, she began to more intensely sense that God was calling her to full-time ministry. Upon graduation, Pastor Alareece served as an English as a Second Language missionary teacher in Costa Rica. This experience further fueled her love of traveling and serving. Before entering full-time pastoral ministry, she worked as an international banker. Pastor Alareece holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary. She believes in loving and leading people into a deeper relationship with Christ while motivating and inspiring them to fulfil the call of God in their lives. A text that has inspired her for many years is Jeremiah 1:4-9, part of which reads, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you…”

Church Secretary

Kim has been a member of the Frederick church for 26 years. She joined the church staff 8 years ago to help the office run smoothly and assist our 3 pastors in their vision and ministry. She and her husband Brent have 3 adult children and 2 amazing grandchildren. In her free time, Kim likes to spend time with her family, read, travel, paint and be outside in nature.
