Children's Activities:
What are some of your activities for children?
- One of the most popular activities is Vacation Bible School. It’s a free one-week children’s themed experience during the summer to learn more about Jesus and positive life lessons. Check out our Ministries and Events Calendar for more children’s activities and ways to get involved.
Do I have to be a member for my children to participate in Vacation Bible School?
- You do not have to be a member for your child to participate in Vacation Bible School. We welcome everyone!
Do you have other activities for children?
- Yes, we have Pathfinders and Adventurers Club, which are similar to the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. Additionally, we have weekly Sabbath School lessons for children at 9:45 am on Saturdays. Please email ChurchOffice@FrederickAdventistChurch.org for more information.
Becoming a Member:
What is Seventh-day Adventism?
- We believe in resting in the work that Jesus Christ has already done for us, accepting His free and abundant grace, and sharing it with each other and the community as we claim the present hope and future reality of His soon return.
Do I have to be a member to participate in communion?
- You do not need to be a member. We practice open communion, so anyone who believes in Jesus Christ can participate. We use unleavened bread and 100% grape juice as our emblems to symbolize the body and blood of Christ, our savior, and redeemer.
Do you collect tithes and offerings?
- Members can choose if they want to return tithes and offerings. We practice pooling our resources to help enrich ministry activities at the church and in our community.
How do I become a church member?
- We would love to talk to you about becoming a member of our church family. Please contact us at ChurchOffice@FrederickAdventistChurch.org.
